This workshop uses a variety of learning methods, including interactive exercises, group work, presentations and practice sessions.

The workshop covers the following areas:

  • Incorporating the MBTI® instrument into the development process
  • Integrating the MBTI instrument into a coaching model, and delivering effective developmental planning sessions
  • Recognising how your own preferences might impact on your coaching style
  • Applying the MBTI instrument to help managers with the challenges of leadership, communication and managing transitions.

To attend this workshop you must be a qualified practitioner of the MBTI instrument. You should therefore have successfully completed one of the following:

  • MBTI Step I Qualifying Workshop
  • MBTI Step I Conversion Workshop
  • Level B Intermediate Plus Workshop with OPP.

An advanced level of this workshop is available for qualified practitioners with greater experience of using the MBTI instrument in a coaching or development context.

This workshop covers the use of the MBTI instrument in one-to-one developmental discussions. For those involved in coaching or development planning sessions, this workshop will enable you to capitalise on the power of the MBTI instrument, helping others to identify how their preferences can impact on performance. On completion of this workshop, you will be able to apply the new techniques learnt to help employees at all levels improve their performance through an understanding of their type.
