This workshop uses a variety of learning methods, including interactive exercises, group work, presentations and practice sessions.

The workshop will cover the following areas:

  • Planning and design of a team event – Work with team leaders to set objectives – Plan formats and timings into which the MBTI® instrument can be integrated
  • Diagnosing a team’s needs – Understand issues prevalent in the team you are working with – Use type to explore team dynamics
  • Effective facilitation – Run team exercises with the MBTI instrument – Know what to observe, and how and when to use feedback
  • Action planning and continuing development – Establish processes for action planning – Put in place methods for following up.

To attend this workshop you must be a qualified practitioner of the MBTI instrument. This means that you should have successfully completed one of the following:

  • MBTI Step I Qualifying Workshop
  • MBTI Step I Conversion Workshop
  • Level B Intermediate Plus Workshop with OPP.
An advanced level of this workshop is available for qualified practitioners with greater experience of using the MBTI instrument with teams or groups.

This workshop will help to build upon the extensive knowledge gained from your qualifying course. It will help you to develop the skills and experience you need to help groups address problems and improve effectiveness in a team environment. The practical exercises and materials will give you the confidence to tackle common team issues such as improving communication, resolving conflict and solving problems.
On completion of this workshop, you will be able to apply the new skills you have learnt to your organisation, using the MBTI instrument to:

  • Diagnose a team’s needs
  • Plan and design a team event
  • Facilitate effectively
  • Action-plan and continue development.
